Spend a full day photographing Yellowstone during one of its most dynamic seasons with professional wildlife photographer and experienced guide Cody Hoagland. Each workshop day combines guided wildlife exploration, field knowledge, and personalized photography instruction as we travel throughout Yellowstone National Park in search of the opportunities the season provides. Fall brings changing color, frosty mornings, shifting weather, seasonal wildlife behavior, and the possibility of everything from autumn foliage dusted with early snow to fog drifting across geothermal landscapes. Potential wildlife opportunities may include elk still in their rut season, bison, moose, grizzlies, black bears, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, coyotes, wolves, and other Yellowstone wildlife. However, wildlife is free-ranging and specific sightings and conditions cannot be fully guaranteed. Days will start before the sun is up and end when it goes down. Pickup and drop-off are provided to participants lodging in West Yellowstone, Montana. This four-day workshop series is designed for flexibility–book a single photography day or join us for two, three, or all four days. Multi-day savings are available when booking multiple workshop days together at the same time. Each workshop day includes: -Full-day guided photography in Yellowstone National Park -Personalized wildlife photography instruction -Wildlife behavior and field interpretation -Guidance with camera settings, techniques, composition, and equipment -Transportation during the workshop from the designated West Yellowstone pickup location -Small-group experience Following your reservation, you'll receive an email from Wild Focus with the next steps for your workshop. This will include your Wild Focus Workshop Agreement, Liability Waiver, Gear & Packing List, and additional information about meeting and pickup, preparation, and what to expect on your workshop day.
